Life is an Illusion...remember?

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." ~Albert Einstein
For any of us, to truly have presence in the given moment is one the most difficult states of mental awareness we as humans can reach. Upon first glance this statement may seem rather juvenile when thinking of presence strictly in the physical sense. However, as I'll explain your presence and your reality are essentially one in the same. In our known physical form we are always present simply with our presence. Mentally however, this is where our power lies... We're all master illusionists, for we decide our reality by where we focus our "presence."
Consider this idea, then: reality may exist wherever our mind is. For example, one can unfold a painful memory from a dark closet deep within our mind, and within moments, it will come to life. We can even relive the experience emotionally. When we do, whether we like it or not, our brain creates an onslaught of chemical signals to the body, and it produces almost the same chemical effects as the original experience. That's how mobile our attention is...our freewilled presence can be our greatest gift or our biggest curse.
Consequently, if we can achieve focused attention concentration (via the frontal lobe), our thoughts can be made more real than the external world. How is this possible? We do it all the time without noticing or understanding that we all possess the ability of a master illusionist simply by controlling the elements of our reality on which we choose to focus (or think about most often).
